The battery combine wires are joined together, both MOSFET arrays are energized allowing current to flow between batteries. When battery combine is enabled, a yellow LED is illuminated on the face of the product. The wires can be extended anywhere on the vehicle and connected to a single pole, single throw switch for convenient activation. Perfect Switch recommends the use of a momentary switch to avoid accidentally leaving the POWER-GATE in the “combined” mode and risking all batteries being discharged. A very low power or logic-level switch is suitable.
